About the role
Maintenance and site operations is the team that keeps the network running. When a pump goes down at a station in Connecticut, when a canopy light needs replacing in Pennsylvania, when a refrigeration unit needs servicing at a Rhode Island store, you are the person who shows up. This is a field-based role covering our four-state network with a vehicle and travel allowance included.
You will work directly with the operations leadership team and have a real say in how we prioritize repairs, schedule preventative maintenance, and manage vendor relationships. This is not a fix-it ticket queue. It is ownership of the physical health of the network.
What you will do
- Diagnose and repair pump, dispenser, and convenience equipment issues across the station network
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on tanks, lines, dispensers, and electrical systems
- Coordinate with outside contractors for specialized work (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, environmental)
- Manage parts inventory, document repairs through CareforceX, and report cost trends to ownership
- Respond to urgent issues during business hours and on a rotating on-call schedule
What we are looking for
- Hands-on experience with fuel pumps, dispensers, or convenience store equipment is strongly preferred
- General mechanical, electrical, or trades background
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (this is a road-based role)
- Comfortable working independently and managing your own schedule across multiple sites in a day
- Willingness to travel across NY, CT, PA, and RI on a regular basis
What you get
- Competitive base salary plus strong overtime opportunities
- Vehicle and travel allowance covering the full four-state network
- Stable, year-round work with predictable hours and a clear on-call rotation
- Direct working relationship with the operations leadership and ownership
- Health benefits, paid time off, and full-time corporate benefits
