About the role
We are looking for a Data Analyst or Data Engineer to work directly on the CareforceX platform and the operations data flowing through it from across our 50 plus stations. This is a hands-on role with real ownership: you will build pipelines, dashboards, and analyses that get used the day they ship by ownership and the operations team.
The role reports into operations leadership with a direct line to the President. You will not be three layers deep in a data org. Your output goes straight to the people making decisions, and feedback comes back the same day.
What you will work on
- Build and maintain the data layer behind CareforceX, including pipelines from POS, fuel volume, inventory, and labor systems
- Develop dashboards and reports that track station-level performance, anomalies, and opportunities
- Run ad-hoc analyses for ownership: pricing strategy, store-level profitability, workforce efficiency, capex decisions
- Improve data quality and consistency across the operations stack
- Collaborate with the BI Analyst and operations team on multi-station rollups and forecasting
What we are looking for
- Strong SQL and Python skills, comfortable working with messy real-world operational data
- Experience with at least one BI tool: Tableau, Power BI, or similar
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, or equivalent demonstrated experience
- Two plus years working in analytics, data engineering, or a similar applied role
- Bonus: experience with retail, fuel, convenience, or multi-location operations data
What you get
- Competitive salary plus performance bonus tied to operational improvements you drive
- Hybrid work environment based out of our Port Washington office
- Real ownership of the analytics roadmap, not handed pre-defined tickets
- Health benefits, paid time off, and standard full-time corporate benefits
- Direct working relationship with ownership and the operations leadership team
