About the role
Station attendants run the forecourt, the part of the station customers see first. You handle the day-to-day work that keeps a busy site moving: greeting customers, monitoring the pumps, keeping the canopy and lot clean, and stepping in wherever the shift needs you. We hire across all 50 plus stations in New York, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and Rhode Island.
This is a real on-ramp role. No experience is required, training is provided, and the path to shift supervisor is structured. Most of our managers came up through this role first.
What you will do
- Maintain a clean, safe, and presentable forecourt: pumps, canopy, lot, trash, and squeegee stations
- Greet customers, answer basic questions, and direct them to the store or a specific pump as needed
- Assist with full-service fuel where required by state law (New Jersey-style protocols at applicable sites)
- Perform light maintenance checks on pumps and report issues through CareforceX to the maintenance team
- Support cashiers during peak hours and back up inside operations when needed
What we are looking for
- Reliable and on-time, every shift
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- No prior experience needed, training is provided start to finish
- Ability to stand and walk for the full shift, and lift up to 30 pounds occasionally
- 18 plus years old
What you get
- Competitive hourly pay with consistent merit increases
- Predictable scheduling and reliable hours, posted two weeks ahead
- Genuine path to shift supervisor and store manager, not a marketing line
- Employee discounts on convenience items and fuel
- Health benefits available for full-time roles after the introductory period
